THE BRIEF
Cardiometabool is an internal digital platform owned by the UMC Utrecht hospital, that helps healthcare providers to have a better insight on their patients’ health situation and consequently give a more accurate treatment advice. The challenge: to improve the user experience of this tool and to modernize the interface’s design, so it facilitates its use to any member of the healthcare staff that may access it.
THE PROPOSAL
The presented prototype resulted on a radical transformation of the existing patient profile navigation model, the core of the tool. Keeping the existing database and diagnose equations, the renewed platform offers right at the landing screen 3 simple navigation paths. These paths save the user time and make it easier to navigate within the tool, as well as to get a faster overview of the patients’ results.
